Iced coffee is a chilled and refreshing beverage made by brewing hot coffee and cooling it before serving it over ice. It's often enjoyed with milk, cream, sweeteners, or flavorings like vanilla or caramel syrup, providing a flavorful alternative to hot coffee.
To prepare 12 cups of refreshing Iced coffee using the Melitta Aroma Tocco Plus 12-cup coffee machine, please follow the steps below:
First of all, please fill up the water tank with eight cups of water. We recommend using the provided glass carafe for ease of measurement and pouring. The next steps would be to place a coffee filter in the designated filter basket and then add 12 scoops of ground coffee in the basket (as a reference add 1 scoop of ground coffee per cup). After that, please fill up the glass carafe with ice, up to the recommended ICE mark level. Once all the setup is completed, then turn on the machine and select BOTH the "bold flavored coffee" button and the "iced coffee" button for a stronger-tasting Iced coffee. To commence the brew, please activate the "ON" button. Once the brew is completed, then please pour the Iced coffee into a separate glass. No need to add more ice if the coffee temperature is cold enough. If not, then please add some more ice to the glass.
You are welcome to add a creamy touch to your coffee by adding your preferred type of milk (whole milk, skim milk, almond milk, etc.) into the glass. You can also further enhance the flavor by adding some sweeteners like sugar, honey, or flavored syrups to your Iced coffee. Give it a final stir to ensure all the ingredients are well-mixed.
